We all know we can buy medicines online, since that is why we get solicitations via mail to buy them online for better sexual/mental/physical performance, but I was kind of late in catching on the fact that you can by pet meds online too! At least the pet meds website is a lot more interesting than the online pharmacies. Check out this list of Pet top 10s - including the top 10 distances covered by cats looking to return home after getting lost. How they get lost at such great distances is a mystery, but the stories are interesting.
With regards to pet health, there’s a list of inherited health disorders for dogs by breed! Amazing stuff. There’s a similar list of inherited health disorders in cats. When it comes to pet medications, the site has a listing of which online pet pharmacy offers the various meds at the lowest rates. Nice site will easily keep you busy for an hour if you have a pet, and like knowing more about your breed.

City Vacation Guides
September 18th, 2007 · 1 Comment
In researching for my upcoming trip to Europe, I have had a tough time finding good, pointed information about what to do in the major cities. I found some useful information about hotels in Paris at cityvacations.com. Looks like accomodations in the Rive Gauche area are more affordable for tourists like me. Rive Doite is the other extreme, and perhaps, when I am old and (hopefully) filthy rich, I’ll get to look for the better options there.
If you visit Barcelona, cityguides has a little useful information. The pages containing information about cities are organized by function - here’s an example shopping in Atlanta page. Since I have been shopping in Atlanta before, i can see that the page doesn’t yet list all the options. The pages are not all complete, and the site advices visitors that there are more blogs, forums and reviews coming soon. It can’t come soon enough. Posting on travel forums and waiting for responses gets old too fast, and the information you find on website might not be the whole deal. So forums, articles, blogs and reviews are all essential in one single website to minimize my effort.

Juicy Juicy Couture Deals
September 13th, 2007 · No Comments
Juicy Couture is a hip line of contemporary casual clothing from California. You’ve probably already seen it on some pop and hip-hop stars, and found yourself wondering, “Wonder what brand it is.” It’s Juicy Couture, with taglines like , “The joy only bling can bring!”. ![]()

The line is best known for the terry cloth and velour track suits and is sold almost exclusively at up-scale stores, such as Neiman-Marcus. However, you can always find Juicy Couture deals if you know where to look for them. Here’s some of the Juicy Couture Velours I was talking about. If success is here, can the replicas be far behind. Not so! Here’s a bunch of Juicy Couture replicas for those of you trying to same some greenbacks. There’s nothing for men from Juicy Couture, but there is Juicy Baby, for babies, of course. I can almost see some marketing professional making the connection, “We sell to women, and women shop for babies, so…”

The Jewelry Art of David Yurman
September 11th, 2007 · No Comments
I have seen bracelets, rings and chains that consist of inter-woven silver and gold. I thought it was interwoven platinum and gold, but I was probably wrong. Here’s a sample:

That’s a fine piece of Jewelry from David Yurman. There are entire blogs dedicated to David Yurman Jewelry!
The company was established in 1979 and the reason why you see it around a lot is because they use top models, like Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, and Amber Valletta to advertise their products. In the US, you find David Yurman Jewelry at Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, and at David Yurman Flagship stores. The jewelry is very highly priced - even over-priced. I guess they have to make the customer pay for their high profile product placement and advertising. However, you can find deals online. You can even find David Yurman inspired jewelry and David Yurman replica bracelets for example. Ebay has a “fine” selection of Yurman pieces too. But you better know how to spot a genuine item. You could always play it safe and pick up a replica for $69.00 instead of the original for $6900. Beauty is surface deep, now, isn’t it? I couldn’t say the same for quality, I suppose!

Now’s the time for Christmas Shopping
September 10th, 2007 · No Comments
I know, Christmas still seems far away, and that is precisely the reason why you should start shopping now. Starting now will give you the time to hunt for the best deals, and wait for the right price - before the whole world crowds the mall. The most difficult part of Christmas shopping is, of course, deciding what to buy. If you’re short in this department, check out these Christmas gift ideas. The true measure of a list of ideas is ideas for Christmas gifts for boyfriends and males. It is easy enough to pick gifts for girls, but girls must find it difficult to pick gifts for boys. The gifts I get from women are usually “nice” but I’d love something more practical. The more impractical a gift is, the more women seem to appreciate it
But I guess it is just different for us.
Shopping for Christmas gifts in September reminds me of the December Effect in stock markets. Thing is, a few people caught on that buying shares in Decembers and selling them in January or February can be profitable since stock prices go up a little at the beginning of a new year. So not long after, some started buying stocks in November, since they expected the December Effect buying to increase prices. That then meant that some started buying stocks in October, and so on, till the December Effect all but vanished! But even if everyone starts thinking like me, there will still be the advantage that I have more time to decide what to buy and to wait for the right prices.

Free Stuff, Lots of Free Stuff
May 23rd, 2007 · No Comments
The sad part is that most of it is free samples. I can’t see what the catch is, since it looks like you have to apply for most of the free offers.
The website does have a lot of discount vouchers which seem to be absolutely free. I will be watching the site to see how good it is. I regularly browse fatwallet’s forums looking for deals, and those forums are busy, and I mean really busy. I wonder why no one has come up with a simple service on a website. Here’s what I would like it to do: Given a person’s postal code, and a grocery list, it should come up with a list of cheap grocery coupons tailormade for that person with the best deals across the various shops near the person’s house. One would think that with modern technology, that should be easy enough to do. A google search returned no such sites. Lots of money to be made with referral links etc, I suppose. Someone take my idea and run with it, please. Oh, and don’t forget to give me a royalty for borrowing my idea

Amazon Price Drop Watch Tool
January 15th, 2007 · 2 Comments
FrozenWarrior’s Amazon Price Watch tool just made me some money over the holidays. Much as I would like to keep saving more money, I thought I’d share this with my readers since your saving money does not, in this case, preclude my saving money — in other words the cake is infinite ![]()
So what does the service do? Simple, it watches the prices of items on Amazon.com and informs you if the price drops below a certain amount. So far so good. It gets better when you realize that amazon.com has a price drop guarantee, where, if the price of an item you purchase drops within 30 days of your purchase, they will refund you the difference!
This website is designed to check Amazon.com prices daily. If the price of your items drop, then you will receive a single message detailing the new price. If the price drops within 30 days of purchasing an item, you can request a refund for the difference. The e-mail you will receive when the price drops, has a link to the support pagewhere you can request your refund. This service is also very helpful if you wish to purchase an item, and you are willing to wait for a much better price.
So that’s the tip of the day for better living through saving, then!
