I thought I had lost faith in the zillions of deal websites - you know the kind I am talking about, blogs, or sites that list deal after deal for electronics and stuff. I even frequented a forum that I have mentioned on this blog before, so I was like, “oh yeah, so what’s new?,” when my GF told me about this site that has coupon codes and deals. Just another excuse for her to blow her money sky high. Yeah, she’s the kind that would buy eye drops for $1 ’cause its an awesome deal - the catch being, she’d have to buy a 100 bottles of eye drops, and no, her eyes aren’t dry or anything. But don’t tell her I told you that ![]()
Dealwhiz is handy to find those darned discount coupons though - for HP, Dell and the lot that seem to be eternally selling at a loss, but still alive and kicking. Never tell someone who has a Dell how much you bought your Dell for - for she will kill you by telling you how much cheaper she bought it for
Anyways, to get back to the topic, check out dealwhiz.com for coupon codes, and I am NOT talking about Dell and HP coupons alone, after all, how many PCs/laptops does one need to buy? I found this cold stone creamery coupon that made my day, and kept my sweet tooth happy.

Free Stuff, Lots of Free Stuff

The sad part is that most of it is free samples. I can’t see what the catch is, since it looks like you have to apply for most of the free offers.
The website does have a lot of discount vouchers which seem to be absolutely free. I will be watching the site to see how good it is. I regularly browse fatwallet’s forums looking for deals, and those forums are busy, and I mean really busy. I wonder why no one has come up with a simple service on a website. Here’s what I would like it to do: Given a person’s postal code, and a grocery list, it should come up with a list of cheap grocery coupons tailormade for that person with the best deals across the various shops near the person’s house. One would think that with modern technology, that should be easy enough to do. A google search returned no such sites. Lots of money to be made with referral links etc, I suppose. Someone take my idea and run with it, please. Oh, and don’t forget to give me a royalty for borrowing my idea

Online Shopping Cashback Deals in the UK
May 16th, 2007 · 1 Comment
Just a couple of days ago, I had written about cheap broadband rates in the UK. It gets even better - this cashback site promises better online shopping rates - even some broadband cashback deals. There’s €16 off on the AOL broadband plan.
If you like online shopping then you could save a lot of money. Who doesn’t like to shop online? Not shopping online is the equivalent of living in a cave these days. I wonder if there are any equivalent sites for the US. One online resource I use pretty regularly is Fatwallet - with its forums and the 1-3% cashback deals.
Cashing in has never been easier. These sites are win-win deals, for their effort, the maintainers of the site get rewarded, and you get money back for using the service.
