Popular Science, technology, economics, living, art and media reviews posted by a knowledge junkie. I specialize in esoteric knowledge, trivia, things that make you think about things in a new way. I also save you time by reviewing things and giving you my personal opinion – you can take it from there. This is where I post links, news, information, thoughts, reviews and anything else that takes my fancy. I hope you enjoy the ride as much as I do. What I can guarantee is that there is nothing routine about the posts here – not even a common thread.
Routine Order (or RO) is military parlance in many commonwealth nations for the notices put up everyday in the camps/barracks. The RO contains all the news and information that members of the community need to read and know. Announcements/invitations/news and messages all found their place into the RO.
I don’t know if ROs are still common (or if they are still referred-to as such, instead of something bland like “daily notice”). The college where I completed my bachelor’s degree still uses this term, and as you might have caught on, that is how I stumbled upon this two-word phrase for my blog’s title. It is not very often that you come across any two word phrases that have not yet been appropriated by someone for their blog’s title.
Hang around and see the sights then!

Really addictive blog. I had to go through all the posts the first time I stumbled across it. Can’t wait for the next post

Thank you for the compliments, m.
Now you are putting me under pressure, and maybe I won’t write anything here, anymore
